Avoid crowding, advises DGP Praveen Sood
BENGALURU:
On the first day of the 21-day nationwide lockdown, ordinary citizens were facing hardships in obtaining their daily necessities. Now, the Karnataka government has moderated the effects of the lockdown by announcing that supermarkets will be open 24/7 all over the state.
Director General of Police Praveen Sood tweeted: “For the convenience of citizens, grocery shops and supermarkets selling food articles can be open 24*7 all over the state. Cooperate with police by avoiding crowding.”
In another tweet, he said: “Patients requiring medical attention are allowed to and from hospital without any need for curfew pass.”
