Govt’s diet plan to drive Covid away!

Date:

BENGALURU:

In the absence of a pill to kill the coronavirus, people are hoping healthy diets will do the trick, and the Karnataka Health Department is no exception. The department has prepared a diet chart – which it shared with the media – for asymptomatic patients. According to the chart issued by Additional Chief Secretary Jawaid Akhtar, the idea is to boost the immunity level of patients.

The chart has seven different menus for seven days of the week. As an example, at 7 am on Monday, there is rava idli, at 10 am watermelon and ragi ganji, at 1 pm for lunch either roti or chapati, vegetable, rice, dal, curd and egg, in the evening at 5:30 pm banana, either 3 Marie biscuits or two protein biscuits or two fresh dates, or mango bar which includes Vtamin C, at 7 pm for dinner a repeat of the lunch menu, and at 9 pm flavoured milk.

See the link for the detailed 7-day diet plan…
