After an inspection of work on the Elevated Corridor, touted as the second largest flyover in Bengaluru, at the Sony World Junction in Koramangala, BBMP Commissioner N Manjunatha Prasad on Friday instructed the authorities to speed up the work. The 2.5 km-long flyover is being constructed at a cost of Rs 203 crore and 45 per cent of the work has been completed. Over 32 per cent of the money has been released to contractors, Prasad said.

“One ramp is to come up near St John’s Research Institute College. They were requested to provide space but have not done so. Another meeting will be held with them. A review meeting with contractors will be held once a month to expedite the work,” Prasad said.
