Fighting Covid: 8,387 discharges versus 7665 infections

Slowly but steadily, Karnataka’s Covid recovery rate has touched 65.14%. On Tuesday, 8,387 coronavirus-infected patients were discharged statewide while the state witnessed 7,665 fresh Covid cases.

The recovery rate in Bengaluru was also high as the tech city witnessed 3,520 discharges as against 2,242 fresh cases. Bengaluru’s recovery rate now stands at 63.22%.

Meanwhile, the state saw 139 deaths out of which Bengaluru had 49, taking its mortality rate to 1.63% as against the state’s 1.74%.
