John ‘Paddy’ Hemingway, the last living pilot who fought in the Battle of Britain during World War II, has died at his home in Dublin at the age of 105. Hemingway was part of a select group of young pilots known simply as ‘the few,’ who defended Britain against Nazi air forces.
