Fake Bomb Threat to Schools: Strict Measures Taken to Prevent Recurrence of Incidents, Says Home Minister Dr. Parameshwara

In response to the bomb threats received via email by 15 private schools in Bengaluru, Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara has taken immediate action to ensure the safety of students and prevent any future occurrences.
Dr. Parameshwara has instructed the concerned authorities to deploy officers, staff, and squads to all the affected schools, emphasizing the need for heightened vigilance.
To gather more information about the bomb threats, Dr. Parameshwara personally contacted Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B. Dayananda and Bengaluru Rural District Superintendent of Police. The Home Minister has been briefed on the ongoing investigation into these incidents.
Police officers will conduct thorough inspections at all 15 schools that have received the threats. It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred last year, which was taken very seriously.
Stringent measures will be taken to prevent any future occurrences of such incidents. The authorities are committed to identifying the source of these threats and will not rest until they are apprehended. Upon returning to Bengaluru from Tumkur, Dr. Parameshwara will gather comprehensive information from the department officials. He reassures parents and children that there is no cause for alarm.
Miscreants have targeted 15 private schools in Basaveshwara Nagar, Sadashiva Nagar, and Yelahanka in Bengaluru, sending bomb threats via email. Prompt police intervention ensured the safety of the students, who were promptly sent home. Concerned parents rushed to the schools to collect their children. As a precautionary measure, some schools have declared a holiday.
