Murder was planned as CCTV cameras were found turned upwards; cops suspect Kadiresh’s ex-bodyguard’s involvement
BENGALURU:
Former BJP corporator Rekha Kadiresh was murdered near her office in the flower garden at Chalavadipalya on Thursday morning. The incident took place around 10 am.
As per the police, Rekha was working in her office when the killers brought her out and attacked her. She sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences by locals, where she was declared brought dead.

It is suspected that old rowdy sheeters Peter, Suresh, and Robert are behind the crime. Peter was said to be working with her as her bodyguard in the past.

Husband was murdered 3 years ago
Rekha’s husband Kadiresh was also murdered on February 8, 2018.

Additional Commissioner of Police Murugan, who visited the spot, said, “Rekha Kadiresh was working inside her office when the incident happened. She was rushed to the hospital where she was declared brought dead.”
Murugan said three teams have been formed to investigate the case.
