Ex-BDA official, Mysuru Palike DC raided

In another of its recent raids on allegedly corrupt officials, Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials raided Mysuru Mahanagara Palike Deputy Commissioner Nagaraju’s residence at Kuvempu Nagar, the Palike office and the residence of his relative in Ramanagara. Nagaraju is accused of possessing property disproportionate to his income.

The Ramanagara DySP-led team conducted the raids under the guidance of the SP of Bengaluru ACB.

MS Niranjan Babu, secretary, Karnataka Slum Development Board, and previously deputy secretary, BDA. The sleuths searched his residence in Marutinagar of Tumkur district and a friend’s flat in Golden Grand Apartment, Yeshwanthpur, Bengaluru.
