Eid Milad: Bengaluru Police Hold Peace Meeting in Vidyaranyapura, Urge Leaders to Maintain Communal Harmony
Bengaluru: Bengaluru City Police held a peace meeting with community leaders near Jamia Masjid in Vidyaranyapura Police Station limits ahead of Eid Milad, urging them to ensure peaceful celebrations and maintain communal harmony.
The meeting was conducted in the North East Division on the directions of the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner.
During the meeting, leaders were advised to ensure that the festival celebrations do not disrupt public movement or traffic and to take necessary precautionary measures.
Police also asked the leaders to remain alert, avoid spreading or believing rumours circulating on social media, and immediately inform the police about any suspicious activity or incident.
The community leaders were requested to cooperate with the Police Department in maintaining peace, law and order during the festival.
Community leaders, police officers and personnel from Vidyaranyapura Police Station attended the meeting.
