ED investigating Hawala angle in Drug case: Bommai

BENGALURU:

Karnataka Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday said the Enforcement Directorate is investigating the financial aspects and also hawala angle, if any, in the drug mafia case.

Speaking to newspersons here, he said ‘The Central Crime Branch (CCB) investigation will continue in Bengaluru. Some accused are being presented before the court. I have instructed the officials to take information coming from all sources regarding the case seriously.’

Bommai further said the officials have been instructed to investigate the case comprehensively and take strict action against those involved. There is no question of leaving anyone, he added. (Agency)
