Drug peddler caught with Cocaine, Ecstasy
Ivory Coast national was staying illegally in Hennur
BENGALURU:
Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths arrested an African national on Thursday and seized 59 gm of MDMA (Ecstasy) and 13 gm of cocaine from him.
Asi alias Basil (31), a citizen of Ivory Coast, had arrived in India on a business visa, and was living in Hennur even after his visa expired. He used to peddle drugs to students and others.
Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sandeep Patil said, “The CCB’s anti-narcotics wing arrested a drug peddler from Ivory Coast and seized cocaine and Ecstacy drugs.”
