Bengaluru | Deputy Director of Mines and Geology Department Stabbed to Death in Subramanyapura Apartment

In a shocking incident, a deputy director of the Mines and Geology Department was brutally stabbed to death at her Gokula Apartment in Subramanyapura, on Saturday. The victim has been identified as Prathima KS (45).
According to the police, it is suspected that the murder took place last night while Prathima was alone at her apartment. Her car driver had dropped her off at home around 8 pm yesterday. The Subramanyapura police have visited the crime scene and initiated an investigation.
Prathima, a government officer, originally hails from Tirthahalli. Her husband and son reside there, while she lived alone in the city. The incident came to light this morning around 8 am when her brother attempted to contact her but received no response. Concerned, he immediately went to her house to check on her.
Upon discovering the gruesome murder, senior police officials arrived at the scene. At first glance, it appears that the motive behind the murder was not robbery, raising numerous questions about the incident.
