BENGALURU: Passengers travelling for Mysuru Dasara will have additional unreserved rail services linking KSR Bengaluru, Mysuru, Ashokapuram and Chamarajanagar, with South Western Railway announcing five special train pairs to handle the festival rush.
The schedule issued by SWR Chief Public Relations Officer Dr Manjunath Kanamadi includes daytime MEMU services to Ashokapuram, late-night connections between Bengaluru and Mysuru, and two special pairs on the Mysuru–Chamarajanagar route. Departures run from October 16 to 22, 2026, depending on the service.
All timings below are in the 24-hour format. For trains arriving after midnight, the arrival date is shown separately from the departure date.
KSR Bengaluru–Ashokapuram: October 19, 20 and 21
06285: Departs KSR Bengaluru at 12:15 on October 19, 20 and 21; arrives at Ashokapuram at 15:40 the same day.
06286: Departs Ashokapuram at 16:10 on October 19, 20 and 21; arrives at KSR Bengaluru at 20:00 the same day.
The pair will make three trips in each direction with 8 MEMU coaches. Stops in both directions: Kengeri, Bidadi, Ramanagaram, Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya, Yeliyur, Byadrahalli, Pandavapura, Shrirangapattana, Naganahalli, Mysuru and Chamarajapuram.
KSR Bengaluru–Mysuru: evening departures and midnight return
06287: Departs KSR Bengaluru at 21:15 daily from October 16 to 21; arrives at Mysuru at 00:20 the following day (October 17–22).
06288: Departs Mysuru at 00:30 daily from October 17 to 22; arrives at KSR Bengaluru at 03:30 the same day.
The pair will make six trips in each direction with 8 MEMU coaches. Stops in both directions: Kengeri, Bidadi, Ramanagaram, Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya and Pandavapura.
Mysuru–KSR Bengaluru: late-night departures and early return
06297: Departs Mysuru at 23:15 daily from October 16 to 21; arrives at KSR Bengaluru at 02:50 the following day (October 17–22).
06298: Departs KSR Bengaluru at 03:15 daily from October 17 to 22; arrives at Mysuru at 06:30 the same day.
The pair will make six trips in each direction with 19 coaches. Stops in both directions: Shrirangapattana, Pandavapura, Byadrahalli, Mandya, Maddur, Channapatna, Ramanagaram, Bidadi and Kengeri.
Mysuru–Chamarajanagar: two special pairs on October 21
06289: Departs Mysuru at 00:10 on October 21; arrives at Chamarajanagar at 02:00 on October 21. 06290: Departs Chamarajanagar at 02:30 on October 21; arrives at Mysuru at 04:15 on October 21. This pair will run one trip in each direction with 19 coaches.
06293: Departs Mysuru at 21:30 on October 21; arrives at Chamarajanagar at 23:20 on October 21. 06294: Departs Chamarajanagar at 23:50 on October 21; arrives at Mysuru at 01:50 on October 22. This pair will run one trip in each direction with 20 coaches.
Both pairs stop in both directions at Chamarajapuram, Ashokapuram, Kadakola, Tandavapura Halt, Sujatapuram Halt, Nanjangud Town, Chinnadagudihundi Halt, Narasambudhi Halt, Kavalande Halt, Konanur Halt, Badanaguppe Halt and Mariyal Gangavadi Halt.
