BENGALURU:
Some important decisions have been made at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting. The decision was taken at the Cabinet meeting to cancel 64 criminal cases filed during the various battles.
The government has decided to drop 64 criminal cases registered against protesting farmers, including those pertaining to violent protests in Mysuru and Belagavi, Law Minister JC Madhuswamy said after a cabinet meeting on Thursday.Â

Among the other decisions taken were:
- Approval of co-operative societies’ decision to postpone elections till December
- Decision to extend the period for crop survey. Farmers to do a crop survey, photograph crops on their land, and upload to government app
- Rs 65 crore grant for SCÂ students staying in hostels
- Search committee for the selection of KPSC members has been scrapped and the decision to appoint members will be taken by the government itself
- Rs 16 crore grant for the construction of a bridge across the Swarna river at Gubbi taluk
- Chamundeshwari Electricity Company’s share capital has been diluted to raise Rs 1,250 crore
- Approval for sanction of Rs 13.4 crore for a bridge between Bhadravati and Shivamogga Railway Station
- Rs 100 crore for land acquisition for ring road construction on north side of Shivamogga.
