Crackers were illegally stored in transport firm godown: Cops
BENGALURU:
Two persons were killed in a blast in a transport firm’s godown at Chamarajpet’s Rayan Circle near New Tharagupet, near KR Market, at around 11.30 am on Thursday.
Three passersby were injured and were rushed to the nearby Victoria Hospital.
Blaze out
Fire tenders rushed to the spot by 12.20 pm and brought the fire under control.
According to the police, the blast occurred due to the mishandling of crackers in the godown where around 80 boxes of crackers had been illegally stored.

DCP (South) Harish Pandey confirmed that two persons had died due to the blast, of whom one belonged to a puncture shop near the godown.
