Covid patient hangs himself in hospital

Ramanna, 61, was a resident of Anjananagar in West Bengaluru 


BENGALURU:

A coronavirus-infected patient committed suicide by hanging himself on Friday night in Vijayanagar Hospital in West Bengaluru.

The deceased has been identified as 61-year-old Ramanna, a resident of Anjananagar.

The Vijayanagar police have registered a case of unnatural death and have shifted the body to Victoria Hospital.

The police are yet to ascertain the cause of death.
