‘Corona braveheart’ corporator tests positive
Shivaraju had helped with disposal of abandoned Covid victim’s body
BENGALURU:
Former ruling party leader in BBMP and corporator of Shankarmath ward M Shivaraju has tested Covid-19 positive. The corporator has been at the forefront of coronavirus prevention measures for the past six months in his ward.
Four days ago, Shivaraju’s father tested positive and is receiving treatment at Fortis Hospital.
In home quarantine
As Shivaraju himself is asymptomatic, the doctors have advised him home quarantine for 14 days. His other family members have tested negative.
Recently, the corporator had helped with the disposal of a Covid victim’s body after her husband abandoned her on learning of her infection.
