Cong partyman held for ‘objectionable comment’ on Amit Shah testing positive

In the wake of Union Home Minister Amit Shah being diagnosed with Covid-19 and being admitted to a hospital in New Delhi, the secretary of the KPCC social media division, Anand Prasad, has been arrested by the Bengaluru police for writing an allegedly objectionable comment on a social networking site.

On August 2, a netizen, RJ Naveed, wrote about Amit Shah’s infection on his Twitter account. Replying to it, Anand Prasad had made an allegedly objectionable comment.

Following an FIR lodged at the Cubbon Park police station, the police arrested Anand Prasad on Sunday night from his residence in KR Puram.
