State govt hopes he can motivate farmers to adopt new practices
BENGALURU:
The Karnataka government has appointed ‘Challenging Star’ Darshan as Ambassador of the Agriculture Department.
Darshan’s ‘brief’ will be to promote programmes for the benefit of the farmers and ‘inspire’ farmers to take up new farming practices.

Making the announcement on Monday, Agriculture Minister BC Patil said Darshan had accepted the ‘Ambassador’ post without expecting any remuneration.
