CET postponed, new date later

The Common Entrance Test (CET) that has to be conducted on April 22 and 23 for all professional courses has been postponed indefinitely, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Higher Education Dr.C.N. Ashwath Narayan said on Monday.

Second-year PUC tests are not yet completed due to Covid-19, hence the CET is postponed, he said, adding that the date for the CET ould be announced in the third week of April.

The decision was taken after talks with officials of the Karnataka Exam Authority.
