During a recent book launch event in Noida, RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale made a compelling case for India to adopt ‘Bharat’ as its sole official name. He questioned the duality of having two names, one in Hindi and another in English, pointing to the Constitution and Reserve Bank as examples where ‘Bharat’ is already used.
