Bagalkot School Roof Concrete Collapses on Students at Mughalolli Tanda; Six Children Safe, Repairs Ordered
Bengaluru/Bagalkot: Six children who suffered minor injuries after concrete from the roof of a government school at Mughalolli Tanda in Bagalkot taluk collapsed on them while they were attending class are safe and are receiving treatment at a hospital, Bagalkot Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Gajanan Bale said.
According to a statement issued by the CEO, all six children injured in the incident are completely safe and have been provided appropriate medical treatment.
Bale said clear instructions have been issued to the Panchayat Raj Engineering Department (PRED) to immediately repair the collapsed portion of the school roof.





A senior School Education Department official, the Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI), is present at the hospital and is monitoring the health condition of the children and their treatment, the statement said.
Parents, who have raised concerns over the condition of the school building, have demanded permanent repairs and appropriate safety measures.
Bale said the administration is taking steps to complete the repair work on an urgent basis.
