Brutal Murder Rocks Kadugodi: Rowdy-Sheeter Puneeth Hacked to Death

Bengaluru: A notorious rowdy-sheeter was brutally murdered in Kadugodi’s Vijayalakshmi Colony late Tuesday night, succumbing to fatal wounds inflicted with deadly weapons. The victim, identified as Puneeth, also known as Nepali, was allegedly attacked by Srikanth and his associates around 9:45 PM.

The Kadugodi police have confirmed the incident and are investigating the matter as a targeted killing fueled by a long-standing feud. A friend of Puneeth was also seriously injured in the attack and is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.

According to SP Shivakumar Gunare, the preliminary investigation strongly suggests that the murder stemmed from deep-seated animosity between Puneeth and Srikanth.

Sources indicate that Puneeth had repeatedly threatened Srikanth, boasting of his intent to kill him. This animosity allegedly culminated in the deadly assault.

On Tuesday evening, four individuals on a motorcycle ambushed Puneeth near Vijayalakshmi Layout, Kadugodi, hacking him to death with a machete before fleeing the scene.

The Kadugodi police have registered a murder case and have launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspects involved in this heinous crime. The investigation is ongoing.
