A BMTC employee tested positive for Covid-19 in Bengaluru on Wednesday, and has been admitted to a designated hospital for treatment.
As per the corporation’s PRO Ajit, the staffer was on leave for 3 days and tested positive on June 10. He has a travel history to Kalaburagi and Vijayapura districts. Contact tracing has been initiated by health department officials.
The PRO said, “The workplace has been disinfected and sanitised as per prescribed norms.”
