Karnataka casualties are now 73

Is Bengaluru heading towards a major spike in Covid-19 fatalities? Though not officially announced yet, Silicon City has witnessed 4 deaths in the last 24 hours. This is on top of 2 deaths reported on Wednesday.
The four victims have been identified as a 35-year-old male, a 52-year-old male, a 69-year-old male and a 45-year-old female. They were treated in a private hospital and the state- run Bowring hospital.
As of now, Bengaluru has the highest number of deaths in the state at 23, followed by 8 in Kalaburagi, 6 each in Vijayapura, Bidar, Dakshina Kannada and Davanagere, 3 in Chikkaballapur, 2 each in Gadag and Tumkuru, and one each in Yadgir, Bagalkot, Ballari, Raichur, Belagavi, Udupi and Bengaluru Rural. One person from another state died in Karnataka.
