BENGALURU:

BMTC has asked all 32,000 of its employees to report for duty even before the current lockdown ends on May 17, suggesting that city bus services could restart.

During the pandemic-related lockdown, BMTC operated only services for healthcare and other essential staff.

BMTC staff will be cleared for duty after a health check. As for passengers, no standees will be allowed. After every trip, the bus will be sanitised completely.
