Bengaluru Rural District Celebrates 79th Independence Day, DC A.B. Basavaraju Hoists National Flag in Devanahalli
Bengaluru Rural: The 79th Independence Day celebrations were held with patriotic fervour in Devanahalli taluk, Bengaluru Rural district, where Deputy Commissioner (DC) A.B. Basavaraju hoisted the National Flag at the premises of the District Administration building in Beerasandra village. The DC saluted the Tricolour and led the gathering in honouring the nation.
As part of the ceremony, floral tributes were offered to the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution.
The event witnessed the presence of Zilla Panchayat CEO Dr. K.N. Anuradha, Additional Deputy Commissioner Saiyida Ayesha, ZP Deputy Secretary Shivakumar, district-level officials, police personnel, and school students, all of whom participated in the celebrations.
