Belagavi DC’S security guard commits suicide
BENGALURU:
A police constable committed suicide by shooting himself at the residence of the Deputy Commissioner’s on Wednesday.
A resident of Kittur in Belagavi district, Prakash Guruvayya (30) shot himself with a service rifle in the guardroom at the residence of Deputy Commissioner SB Bommanahalli in Vishweshwarayya Nagar. The reason for his extreme act is not known.
City police commissioner Lokesh Kumar and the Deputy Commissioner inspected the spot of the suicide. A case has been registered at APMC police station, Belagavi.
