Now walk-in to Covid care Centres to get medical facilities in Bengaluru
10 beds of Dasarahalli CCC will be converted into oxygen-equipped ones
BENGALURU:
Amid the skyrocketing Covid-19 cases in Bengaluru, the civic agency has swung into action and has opened a 127-bed Covid Care Centre in Bagalgunte ward of Dasarahalli zone.
BBMP aims to convert at least 10 of the CCC’s beds into oxygen-equipped ones for serious Covid patients. The CCC was inaugurated by Revenue Minister R Ashoka at Karmika Bhavan.
Good for asymptomatic cases
The Revenue Minister said that already 12 CCCs have been opened in the BBMP limits and asymptomatic patients who do not have individual rooms/toilet facilities at home can get admitted to these CCCs to prevent the virus spreading to family members.
Dasarahalli zone Covid in- charge and Excise Minister K Gopalaiah, local legislator Manjunath, BBMP Administrator Rakesh Singh, Chief Commissioner Gaurav Gupta, Zonal Commissioner Ravindra, Joint Commissioner Narasimhamoorthy and other officials were present.
