Prasad has been the face of BBMP’s preventive measures against the pandemic ever since July 18, when he embarked on his ‘third innings’ as BBMP Commissioner.

Speaking to thebengalurulive, Prasad said the doctors had advised him a week’s rest at the very least after his discharge. He said he was still feeling tired and wanted to take rest.

‘Worked while in hospital’

Meanwhile, sources said the Commissioner, despite being hospitalised for Covid-19, had been all along guiding his team of fellow-IAS officers regularly on civic issues and clearing all e-office files.
