BENGALURU:
Ballari is gripped with fear among common citizens as the district reported 107 positive cases on Tuesday, with 6 deaths.
Monday’s 12 deaths and Tuesday’s 6 deaths have taken the district’s toll to 29.
As per Ballari Deputy Commissioner SS Nakul, the district has 880 Covid cases. Apart from the Jindal cluster, cases have been reported from Hospet, Siruguppa and Sandur.
All 107 of Tuesday’s cases are connected to the Jindal cluster. Monday had reported 76 positive cases.
Of the total of 880 cases, 409 are cured and 442 are active. The district still awaits the test results of 321 samples.
