BENGALURU:
In the last 24 hours, the number of infected people in the state has increased to 3,35,928, with 8,852 people infected with the coronavirus.
On Sunday, 106 people died of the virus, including 27 in Bengaluru, taking the death toll statewide to 5,589
There were 7,101 recoveries too, taking the total recoveries statewide to 2,42,229. The Health Department reported that 88,091 active cases are being treated at specified Covid hospitals.
As of today, 335928 cases have been reported in Karnataka. This includes 242229 discharges. Today, 8852 new positive cases are reported & 7101 people have been discharged.@CMofKarnataka @BSYBJP @sriramulubjp @DrKSudhakar4 @CovidKarnataka @nimmasuresh @drashwathcn
