BENGALURU:
The government is now focusing on the need for everyone to wear masks while stepping out.
On Thursday, Deputy Chief Minister CN Ashwath Narayan, who participated in a sanitation kit distribution programme of United Way Bangalore in the Subramanya Nagar and Gayatri Nagar wards, said, “Everyone has to adopt the practice of wearing masks. In some countries, it is mandatory to wear a mask to prevent coughing and sneezing.”
He added, “We had the traditional habit of covering our mouth and nose with a towel. This practice has since stopped.. United Way Bangalore has provided 10,000 kits. One packet has 3 masks and 1 bar of soap.”
