BENGALURU:

The state cabinet has hiked the age limit for recruitment to the post of Police Sub Inspector (PSI) in the Karnataka police department by 2 years on humanitarian grounds.

Consequently, the age limit for the general category has risen  from 28 years to 30 years, and for the reserved category from 30 years to 32 years. “A 30-year-old general candidate and a 32-year-old reserved class candidate will now be eligible for the PSI recruitment examination and interview,” Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister JC Madhuswamy said.
