Aditya Alva’s 4-acre farmhouse raided by CCB

Date:

It was venue for weekend ‘drug parties’, say cops

BENGALURU:

CCB police investigating the Sandalwood drug case on Tuesday raided the farmhouse of former minister Jeevaraj Alva’s son Aditya at Mariyannapalya in Hebbal. After a search warrant was obtained from the court, Inspectors Anjumala Naik and Puneet led the raid at Aditya’s farmhouse, ‘House of Life’, next to Manyata Tech Park.

Brother-in-law of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, Aditya Alva is the sixth accused (A6) in the Sandalwood drug case. He has been absconding since September 4.

The police have information that the 4-acre resort adjacent to Hebbal lake was rented out for weekend parties. It is alleged that drugs were supplied to these parties and that another accused, Vaibhav Jain, was supplying Ecstasy pills to wealthy acquaintances at these parties. Parties were also organised at ‘Kitty ko Club’.

Another accused, Ravi Shankar, reportedly told the police that party venues and names of visitors were informed in advance on WhatsApp.
