ACB traps bribe-taking nurse
Pregnant patients at KC General Hospital had complained of bribe demands
BENGALURU:
ACB officials arrested a KC General Hospital nurse Kokila on Tuesday while she was receiving a bribe of Rs 500 from a pregnant woman who had been admitted for delivery.
Patients and their kin had complained about some nurses who were demanding daily amounts of Rs 700 to treat expectant mothers in the hospital
Apart from the nurse who was caught red-handed, two other nurses had also allegedly demanded money from the kin of pregnant patients. They were arrested and a case was registered against them.
