BENGALURU:
It was a Shocking Sunday for Bengalureans as a new high of 783 infections put Saturday’s record of 596 Covid-positive cases in the shade.
Of the day’s 4 casualties, 3 had a history of breathlessness while all had symptoms of fever, cold and cough along with co-morbidities like hypertension and diabetes. The victims were all men aged 66, 62, 55 and 65.
As per the bulletin released by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Bengaluru has reported 3,314 positive cases till date, of which 2,692 are active. Sunday did not see a single discharge in Bengaluru City.
