Actor Chiranjeevi Sarja’s funeral at Farm house near Kanakapura on Monday
Chief Secretary says uncle Arjun Sarja, coming from Chennai for last rites, is exempted from home quarantine

The final rites of actor Chiranjeevi Sarja, who died on Sunday, will be performed in a farm house near Kanakapura at 1pm on Monday.
Earlier, family members had decided to conduct final rites at his native village of Jakkenahalli in Madhugiri taluk of Tumkur district.
Shivarjun, Sarja family’s close friend told media that final rites will be conducted at Nelaguli village on Kanakapura Road in his brother Dhru Sarja’s farm house.
According to sources, the family of Chiranjeevi Sarja is waiting for Arjun Sarja and Chiru’s grandmother, currently in Chennai.
Speaking to thebengalurulive, Chief Secretary TM Vijay Bhaskar said Arjun Sarja will not be stopped from attending funeral even though he will be coming from Chennai.

Prashant Sambargi, a close family friend of the Sarja family, thanked the Chief Secretary for the clarification as there was talk that Arjun would be home quarantined after he arrives from Chennai. “It was a relief after the Chief Secretary clarified that attending final rites is exempted and there won’t be any hurdle for Arjun to attend it,” Prashant said.
Meanwhile, an official said that around 150 people will be allowed to attend the funeral. The body of the actor has been handed over to the family.
