Mother-daughter duo nabbed trying to evade quarantine
BENGALURU:
Quarantine fears prompted a getaway bid by a mother-daughter duo who had arrived from Delhi at KIA on Tuesday.
Even as they exited the airport with a ‘Red Zone’ stamp on their hands, the duo tried to flee in a car.
They were traced by the CSC (Common Service Centre) team and handed over to the police, following which they agreed to be quarantined.
The car in which they were sitting was sprayed with disinfectant. (See the video)
