Senior citizens can now travel in BMTC buses
BENGALURU:
BMTC Managing Director C Shikha has requested Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao to exempt BMTC bus services from the current curfew timings of 7 pm to 7 am.
She said many organisations have requested BMTC for an extension of bus services from 6 am to 8 pm.
Speaking to the media, Shikha said many passengers arrive at bus stands very early but are unable to get a bus. She pointed out that BMTC is sanitising buses regularly and making commuters aware of social distancing and other precautions.
