Bengaluru: In a shocking incident that has left the entire area in disarray, a double murder occurred following a violent confrontation between two families. This tragic event unfolded when a man, identified as Mallesh Gowda, was confronted by his wife, Yamuna, over an extramarital affair he was allegedly having with a neighbor, Chaya.
The confrontation escalated quickly. Eyewitnesses reported that the affair had been known for some time, leading to significant tension among the families involved. Yamuna’s son, Dikshith, expressed disbelief over the incident, stating, “We were all together. Uncle had no involvement. It was during this time that his son got involved, leading to the tragic stabbing.”
On the morning of the incident, both Yamuna and her brother, Sudhiv, approached Chaya’s home after hearing rumors regarding the ongoing affair. A heated argument ensued, during which Chaya’s teenage son reportedly attacked Yamuna and Sudhiv with a knife, inflicting multiple stab wounds before fleeing the scene in panic.
DCP Nagesh confirmed details of the case: “The clash began at Chaya’s residence, during which the crime took place. Initially, it appears that Chaya’s underage son attacked the two victims with a knife. We have registered a case and are conducting a thorough investigation.”
As the news of the killings spread, Yamuna’s daughter reportedly attempted suicide by ingesting acid, and is currently fighting for her life in the hospital. The police have since taken the teenage boy and the adult suspects into custody for questioning as they continue to unravel the circumstances surrounding this shocking double murder.
