Cong in league with PFI, says MP
BENGALURU:
The BJP Yuva Morcha’s new national president, MP Tejasvi Surya, has said that he stands by his recent statement that Bengaluru is a terror hub. The MP’s ‘terror ‘ remark has drawn flak from the opposition parties in Karnataka for ‘spoiling’ the image of the state capital.
Speaking to the media after visiting the state BJP office in Malleswaram on Wednesday, Surya said, in connection with the DJ Halli and KG Halli riots, “My blood boils, as a police station in Bengaluru was vandalised.”
He alleged that Congress was giving ‘support’ to the PFI ‘hooliganism’.
Surya said, “For Bengaluru’s security, we need NIA. But if NIA comes, the match-fixing between the SDPI and Congress will be ruined.”
