Three held with 40 Kg ganja
BENGALURU:
The Bengaluru Police have arrested three persons, including an habitual drug peddler and seized 40 kg ganja which was being transported in an autorickshaw in the city for sale, the police said on Thursday.
The arrested were identified as 31-yr-old Karthik, 23-yr-old M Vicky and 21-yr-old Prem Kumar.
During interrogation it was revealed that Karthik was a habitual drug peddler and was caught in two drug peddling cases and had come out on bail. He continued his crime and recently went to Daspala, Nayagarh District, Odisha and purchased the banned drug for sales in Bengaluru, Davanagere, Mysuru and other cities of the state.
Srirampura Police have registered a case and an investigation has been initiated. (Agency)
