6 new ‘positives’ take Bellandur apartment’s ‘Covid score’ to 26
Samples of 85 apartment residents sent for tests on Wednesday
BENGALURU:
The number of Covid-19 positive cases in Bellandur’s SJR Watermark Apartment has risen to 26, with Wednesday reporting 6 fresh cases.
BBMP Commissioner N Manjunatha Prasad shared the information with the media on Wednesday evening, and added that the samples of another 85 residents have been sent for tests. The BBMP has till date sent 1,140 samples for testing.
Case break-up
- Feb 18-22 — 10 positives out of 10 samples tested.
- Feb 22 — 10 positives out of 501 samples tested.
- Feb 23 –– 6 positives out of 544 samples tested.
- Feb 24 — 85 samples sent and reports awaited.
Total samples collected till date – 1,140.
Total positives till date — 26 out of 1,055 tested.
