Another city ‘record’ of 1,235 cases
BENGALURU:
After Saturday’s 2 asymptomatic deaths in Bengaluru, the bulletin released by the Karnataka Health Department reported the deaths of another 6 asymptomatic patients on Sunday.
The day also saw a record single-day day count of 1,235 positive cases along with 16 deaths in Bengaluru.
The total number of deaths in Bengaluru has now swollen to 145. The six asymptomatic victims were men aged 70, 73, 95, 54 and 48, and a woman aged 64.
As per the bulletin, only one patient had symptoms of restlessness while the others did not show any symptoms. Only one patient who was 73 year old was admitted on July 2 and he died the same day, while the others were admitted on different dates but their swab reports came posthumously. The other deaths had ILI and SARI symptoms.
