3 held, drugs worth Rs 40 lakh seized

The CCB police arrested three peddlers and seized drugs worth Rs 40 lakh on Saturday.

The three accused are A Subramani alias Achutyan Nair (26), Vidhus alias Vijaya Kumar(31), and Shejin alias John Mathew (21).

In a tweet, Joint Commissioner Sandeep Patil said, “CCB drive against drugs continues with arrest of 3 drug peddlers by Anti Narcotics Wing and seized hash and cannabis drugs worth Rs 40 lakh.”

Meanwhile, city police commissioner Kamal Pant has appealed to young people, especially students, to share information with the police about peddlers.
