3 cows killed after eating poisoned jackfruit
CHIKKAMAGALUR:
After the tragic case of a pregnant elephant which died after eating a pineapple stuffed with explosives in Kerala comes another story of human perversity from Chikkamagalur.
Three cows died after consuming a jackfruit laced with poison in the village of Basaravalli in Chikkamagalur district.
According to the local police, the villagers said they resorted to the measure as cattle were eating their crops.
A case has been registered at the Aldur police station.
