2 arrested over posting students’ pics on porn sites
BENGALURU:
The CCB police have arrested 2 persons for uploading photos of students and lecturers on pornographic websites.
The accused, identified as Ajay Thanikachalam and Vishwak Sen, had taken photos from Facebook and Instagram accounts of students and lecturers from some of the city’s leading colleges and uploaded them on pornographic websites.
Based on complaints, 7 cases had been registered in the cybercrime and other police stations.
Joint Commissioner (Crime) Sandeep Patil tweeted: “CCB’s Cyber Crime Wing arrest 2 accused who uploaded photos of victims on porn sites. As photos are taken from victims’ Social Media accounts, strict legal action is being taken by police.”
