MYSURU:
Thirteen KSRP men who returned to Mysuru after an assignment in Bengaluru have tested positive for the coronavirus. The personnel were in Bengaluru from May 6 to 17 and comprised 25 members. They were staying at the KSRP guest house in the state capital.
KSRP personnel from Hassan and Shivamogga who had earlier been deputed to Bengaluru have also tested positive.
KSRP ADGP Alok Kumar tweeted: “Upholding the morale of the force is prime concern in times of Covid. Visited 4 th Bn again yesterday where 9 men have tested positive and addressed our quarantined personnel who stayed indoors.Enquired about their welfare. Battle is on. Next stop Mysore reporting 13 cases.”
