BENGALURU:
Bengaluru’s Central Crime Branch (CCB) police on Tuesday raided a diabetes centre which was manufacturing and selling fake N-95 masks.
At the ZIS Engineering Diabetic Centre in Banaswadi, some persons were found making masks out of cloth and putting N-95 seals on them.
The CCB police seized 12,000 fake N-95 masks worth Rs 20 lakh. In addition, it was found that around 70,000 fake masks, worth around Rs 1 crore, had already been sold.
One person was arrested and a case has been registered at the Banaswadi police station.
